Borden's Eagle Brand Magic Lemon Meringue Pie | Arlene Turner | Pies | This is from an archive of Borden Eagle Brand Magic Recipes copyrighted in 1964. My mother had the condensed milk label with the recipe on it in her recipe box. My father's mother always called it Lemon Ice Box Pie so that's the name we called it growing up. This was Dad's traditional birthday "cake". http://archive.lib.msu.edu/DMC/sliker/msuspcsbs_borc_nycondense50/msuspcsbs_borc_nycondense50.pdf
Super easy Magic Lemon Meringue Pie. Put it in a crust made of those gluten free cookies that just didn't work out. Crumble the cookies that are still intact, add a stick of melted butter, press into the pie pan, and bake.
Trisha Yearwood's magic lemon meringue pie... I don't really know why they call it Trisha 's recipe cuz my family has been making this basic recipe for years and we got it from the Eagle Brand Sweetened condensed milk label. We do add a teaspoon of vanilla to the meringue.
