One of my favourite artists is a Dutch female Golden Age floral painter Rachel Ruysch (1664-1750). Rachel Ruysch had 10 children and kept painting till she was 84. This painting is named: "Flower still life with butterflies at a stone bank". More on her you find on my blog at: http://mindfuldrawing.com/2011/01/22/rachel-ruysch-1664-1750/ Paula Kuitenbrouwer at www.paulakuitenbrouwer.com
