How to remove labels/glue from jars.  1.Use heat to soften the glue. Soak the jar in hot water for a couple of hours. Use your fingers/nails to peel off as much of the label as you can. Some glue probably will remain.  2.Spread a little cooking oil (I used spray cooking oil) or peanut butter onto the glue area using paper towel. The oil will help release the glue.
