Malaysian artist MONICA LEE has decided to become an illustrator after 12 years of work in the digital art. With a pencil, she draws amazing detailed and realistic illustrations of freckled girls, bearded men and animals. She is inspired by the work of Marteline Nystad, Dirk Dzimirsky and Paul Cadden.
With nothing but a pencil, paper and lots and lots of talent, German artist Dirk Dzimirsky creates works of art that eerily mimic reality--so much so, it's hard to believe you're not staring at a photograph. This one is titled Lemonworld, 2010
Dirk Dzimirsky’s works are quite amazing. Dzimirsky’s works are in many private collections around the world, including USA, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. Most of Dzimirsky’s works are in pencil or charcoal on paper, with added highlights in white.
