My name is Momma: Deep Fried Kool Aid •2 cups of all-purpose flour •1/2 a cup of white sugar •1 teaspoon of salt •4 Tablespoons Kool-Aid •1 Tablespoon of baking powder •2 Tablespoons of melted, unsalted butter •1/2 a cup of milk •1 beaten egg Roll them up in balls and fry in veggie oil.
Deep Fried Kool-Aid Balls Recipe -Makes 32 one oz portions (Recipe provided by Executive Sous Chef Jackie Seavey & Pastry Chef Tonya Dellinger) -Ingredients: 2 cups Flour 3/4 cup sweetened Kool-Aid Mix 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tbsp Baking Powder 1 cup cold Milk 1 Egg beaten slightly Vegetable or Frying Oil -Method: Mix dry ingredients & fold in others. Scoop mixture into one oz balls. Deep fry at 325 degrees until fully cooked. Drain on paper towel. Dust with powdered sugar.
