Tower Bridge (built 1886–1894) a combined bascule + suspension bridge in London which crosses the River Thames. Close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name, it has become an iconic symbol of London. Officially opened 30.6.1894 by The Prince of Wales (the future King Edward VII), and his wife, Alexandra, Princess of Wales. shown here in 1893.
i chose this image because i like how it captures the different times of day, and the colours look amazing together. there is light getting in, but also in the dark parts of the image, there isn't a lot of light getting in
