The Temple Bar Memorial, Fleet Street, c. 1890. This memorial was erected on the spot where Sir Christopher Wren's Temple Bar had stood at the junction of Fleet Street and The Strand until its removal in 1878. Temple Bar itself, after residing in Hertfordshire for 125 years, was re-erected in the City of London, at the entrance to Paternoster Square, in 2003.
The very first time and the very last. I don't even know whose end is saddest. I might have to say Morgana because although Arthur died, he died safe in Merlin's arm. Merlin lived on with the hope of the return of his dead friend, Gwen had to look to the future of Camelot, and Morgana just died a sad death, full of bitter hate and loneliness. --Description by DestinyandDoom
