Sir Len Hutton - Captain of England during the Fifth Test Match at the Oval, during the Ashes series against Australia in the heady summer of 1938. Hutton made 364 (caught: Hassett bowled: O'Reilly) - still the highest individual Test score by an English batsman - in England's team total of 903 - 7 (declared). England won the match by an innings and 579 runs.
The Museum of London's London Street Photography exhibition displays scores of candid images of everyday life through the years. Dating from approximately 1860, the pictures show a city but a city both wholly recognisable and strangely familiar.
