yum. Gluten Free Magazine March 2015

I like the layout of this contents page and I like the way there is a picture on top of each column. I also like the way there is the main content in bold then underneath is a little sentence about it. I would consider using this in my magazine.

Reinventing the wheels

The text of a double page as a shape is really eye catching and evokes interest in the text even without interest in the content

A room with a view – The New York Times Magazine's photography special

Willey's type treatment is also used on the contents page, vertically stacking the names of the destinations

Dark Side of Typography

Not sure if this is TOC but I like that the design went big and bold with typography. With a design like this you don't need photography (but maybe icons? or illustrations in the white space?) I like the b&w on both pages but maybe a pop of color.

Krupali Vaidya: Content page reference - The above image gives an inspiration to design a creative content page. The use of typography is very nice by creating a surprise element within the design. The format of the text does not divert our eyes from the content page. A very well balanced layout with a great sync and harmony within the design is been displayed through this book.
