Math Word Walls have been a total game changer in my classroom! Now my First Grade students actively use the vocabulary cards on bulletin board to remind them of key concepts. These Math Word Wall Cards are also available for Kindergarten, First Grade, 2nd, 4th and 5th!
Because of the new common core and new tests being active this year, there are little to no resources for us teachers to use to prepare our students for their End-of-Course exams. This is a 50 question practice EOC test for Algebra 1 and Integrated 1. All of the questions are originally written and all graphs are originally produced using the new standards and released tests as a guide.
Common Core Standards can be hard to understand. Here is a helpful breakdown.
Why is a negative times a negative a positive? | Tools for the Common Core Standards
Check out our flipped classroom animated math lesson on finding and using slope! This lesson is perfect for students with a visual learning preference and is aligned with the common core learning standards for Algebra I. You can access all of our video lessons at youtube.com/mashupmath!
This is a great tool to review for the common core! This flip book is organized so that students are able to practice the different combinations of inequalities they are required to know how to graph in the common core algebra course.I emphasize the use of highlighters so that students can easily see where the solution set is when graphing systems of inequalities. We then glue this into our interactive notebook.I hope you enjoy!
