Interiors: unlikely object of desire – in pictures

This style home with the grand entrance hallways and the stairs being one of the first visual points just cry out for a carpet stair runner just like this one.  I love the strips, and the colours are gorgeous especially against the pale walls and on the real stained wood floor.  I also love how the photo gallery runs up the stairs, all of this just makes you want to explore further. Although if it was me I would have maybe thrown in a few coloured frames too.
