I had this brilliant (I thought so, at least) idea of having Archer be in the reserve military and he's working in the bookstore to make a living (my uncle just joined the reserves and he shared a lot of stories :) Then there's some sort of crisis situation in the Middle East and he has to go over there. It'll make for an interesting plot twist and we can have a really big 'happy tears' reunion between him and Sadie
