Monday, October is Columbus Day. It is a National holiday to celebrate Christopher Columbus and his arrival to the new world. Below is a video for older students from the History Channel.

For this activity, students will create a timeline that illustrates the major events in the life of an explorer. For this example, we chose Christopher Columbus.
