As you begin your chiropractic education, you’ll learn about the theories and philosophy behind spinal subluxations as well as different techniques used to correct them. And, as you complete your national board exams and graduate from chiropractic college, you’ll join a long and rich history of professionals dedicated to improving patient health.
This is the chiropractic oath. Just like MD`s recite the hippocratic oath, we recited this at my graduation ceremony back in 2001. These words mean so much to me, and are the essence of my philosophy as a chiropractor:)
4 yrs of pre-med. in biology, inorganic organic chemistry, physics, psychology lab work. Chiropractic College,4-5 yrs. Doctors of chiropractic are educated in orthopedics, neurology, physiology, human anatomy, clinical diagnosis including laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging, exercise, nutrition, rehabilitation... Not all doctors practice the same some, e.g. Some don't do lab. Tests or nutrition others do; chiropractic specialists would make sure that they cover every relevant aspect.
