Child Life Comfort Positions- A list of different positions the parent can hold their child when undergoing a procedure. This helps comfort the child by allowing the protective figures in their lives hold them when going through an invasive procedure.
A Coping Toolbox filled with coping objects, items, photos, etc. for self care. This is a great idea for patients who need some coping skills. You can have them participate and make the toolbox together.
Another set of books that help siblings deal with the death of a loved one. These are so important because dealing with grief in this way is difficult for everyone, especially another child who does not really know how to grieve.
