Shauna - I used half ricotta and half cottage cheese and added ground elk to pasta sauce. Lasagna Formaggio ~ Ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses seasoned with Italian herbs are layered with pasta and marinara sauce.
Make and freeze this 5 cheese lasagna before you venture out on a holiday, and enjoy it upon your return. Defrost for days in the fridge and reheat at 325 for about an hour. To save even more time, use the no-boil lasagna noodles!
Very tasty recipe ~ Ricotta Cheese Lasagna - This is the only lasagna recipe I will ever use! It is the most delicious lasagna I've ever tasted! The only thing I did differently was use Preggo Flavored with Meat instead of the Traditional Italian.
