Centennial Park, Sydney, is a large public urban park that occupies 220 hectares, located 4 kilometres south-east of Sydney's CBD, in Randwick. / The Park forms part of the larger Centennial Parklands.
Centennial Park is an oasis not far from the CBD. Its a great place for a picnic and to enjoy Sydneys lush oasis of ponds, grassy hills and woodlands. Opened as a public open space in 1888 the park was the venue for the inauguration of Federation in 1901, and includes a dedicated cycle and rollerblading track.
