Abyssinian Kitten - The Abyssinian is one of the oldest breeds of pedigree cat and was one of those exhibited at the very first cat show held at the Crystal Palace in 1871. Acrylic painting on vintage paper. About the paper : I buy on car boot sale or second-hand store some old french book printed from 1860 to 1930 for the remarkable quality of the paper. It has a good thickness, it is sometimes laminated, and usually it is made from hemp or cotton. Furthermore, touched by the time, each sheet is unique. A little bit yellow, usually with some brown spot, it also release the smell of old that I like.
