British Olympian Charlotte Dujardis and Valegro made history today by becoming Great Britain's first individual gold medalist in dressage, adding to her team gold medal... and to think, she only began riding Grand Prix in 2011! No doubt many of you like me have been glued to two weeks of brilliant Great Britain triumph in Rio at the Olympics. We are extremely proud of all our Olympians but none more so than our local athletes. As well as the Cotswold rowers our Hartpury based Dressage squad led by Carl Hester won a team silver to add to their gold from London and the heroic Charlotte Dujardin gloriously triumphed with her second individual gold. Congratulations to you all! This September children start a new school…
