This beautiful little stone cottage [www.naturalhomes.org/leanach.htm] is Leanach Farmhouse in Culloden, Scotland. It has a rich history that included being used as a field hospital during the Battle of Culloden in 1746. Many centuries later the cottage now has a new red thatch made from heather. The cottage is loved and cared for by the National Trust using only natural materials.
