Fruit cocktails. My children tasted each fruit juice individually to see which ones they liked (they liked them all). Then they had the freedom to create their own fruit cocktails using the juices. They added some ice & we cut up some fruit garnishes too. As a classroom activity it can open up many avenues with science & DT links (senses, planning, predicting & evaluating), numeracy (volume & capacity, measuring, tally charts) & literacy (recipe writing).
