Cantaloupe Bread :: 2 cups cantaloupe, seeded and pureed (about half a large cantaloupe) 3 eggs 1 cup vegetable oil 2 cups white sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Black Pepper and Honey-Marinated Cantaloupe with Basil: Mix ½ cup honey, 2 tsp crushed black peppercorns and 1cup boiling water. Cool. Add 1 slightly underripe cantaloupe, peeled, seeded, and thinly sliced. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to overnight. Drain and discard excess syrup; sprinkle with 2 sprigs basil, thinly sliced (3 tbs) and flaky sea salt | SAVEUR
