Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Mike Collins Neil and Buzz got all the glory as they got to descend and walk on the moon 1st and 2nd person to do so, but Mike was essential to the missions success and deserved far more recognition for his historic endeavours, well that's my humble opinion

He was the Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing in history. He set foot on the Moon at 03:15:16 (UTC) on July 21, 1969, following mission commander Neil Armstrong.
