The Bloody Benders: On April 6th of 1877, The Cleveland Daily Herald reported on the capture of the notorious Bender family of serial killers. The Benders had been engaging in a cross-country flight after they had been discovered to have killed over 11 visitors to their Inn and general store located in Osage township, Kansas.
