The Yellow Bellied Sea Snake, (Pelamis platura), also known as the Yellowbelly Sea Snake, or Pelagic Sea Snake, is a species of sea snake found in tropical oceanic waters around the world.

This is easily my favourite snake reference for the change in colour below/above and also showing the way the body curves. Also the indentation at the spine shows well here.

Most poisoness snake in the U.S.A., but they are small and would have to bite between your fingers to get a grip!  Eastern Coral snake (Micrurus fulvius fulvius)

Most poisonest snake in USA, but they are small. Eastern Coral snake To differentiate the KING snake from the poisonous CORAL snake, remember rhyme; Red on black, friend of jack. (King) Red on yellow, kill a fellow.

Black-and-yellow Argiope. They come in so many colors and reach impressive sizes! They create vibrate webs when they feel threatened. The ziggy zag pattern in their web is their "shady porch" in the hot summer sun.

Coral snakes are easy to spot by their distinctive coloring. They have alternating, red, yellow, and black bands. Did you get that? Red and yellow are touching each other, meaning this bad boy is poisonous. Be on the look out. There are counterfeit corals that have alternating red, black, and yellow bands. These aren’t poisonous.  Coral snakes are shorter than other venomous snakes. They average about 40 inches and have smaller mouths and fangs.

There are 6 types of garter snake in Canada. Most of the ones I see are black with bits of red and yellow. This one is plain green and yellow so I thought it might be an Eastern Ribbon snake which is one of he six types mentioned.
