Basting without kneeling

Basting a quilt without kneeling: quilt top rolled on one board, quilt backing rolled on another board, batting floats in between the two boards. Pin and roll

Pin & roll layers onto 3 pieces of foam pipe insulation, then unroll as you hand-baste your layers together!

Before using this method I struggled with my quilt sandwich. So easy. Uses pipe insulation. I just pin the fabric on and roll them up. Then I can sit at the table to pin baste. Great idea to use pipe insulation or swimming noodles.
