Use a mesh laundry pop-up bag for beach toys, and keep the sand where it belongs. Also, use baby powder or corn starch to get sand off of skin. Just sprinkle where the sand is and it falls right off!I hate sand that is stuck to everything!
I bring baby powder every time to beach! Like to snack at the beach? Easily remove sand from your hands by "washing" them with baby powder! This works great for cleaning kids up after playing in the sand box as well!
I keep a thing of baby powder in my beach bag. "baby powder gets sand off your skin easily, who knew?" - my aunt did! This was a lifesaver at the beach this summer! Totally keeping powder in the beach bag from that day forward!
Place flower bulbs and about 3 tablespoons baby powder in a sealed plastic bag and give it a few gentle shakes. The medicated-powder coating helps both reduce the chance of rot and keep away moles, voles, grubs, and other bulb-munching pests.
BABY POWDER BEACH TRICK: Sprinkle baby powder on arms, legs & personal parts after the beach. The baby powder absorbs excess moisture & best of all, helps the sand slide right off. I wouldn't go to the beach without it!
