Babette's Feast, winner of an Oscar for best foreign film, is one of favorite foreign film of all times. The cinematography is exceptional and acting and script is just fantastic. Babette, a French woman, shows up at a small Dutch village and seeks refuge. When they take her in, she prepares a feast that is beyond anyone has seen before. The poignant storyline really touches your heart and you appreciate the characters as you journey through the movie. Excellent.

Produced by Just Betzer, Bo Christensen, and Benni Korzen with funding from the Danish Film Institute, Babette's Feast was the first Danish cinema film of a Blixen story.
