The AQ Test was developed by Simon Baron-Cohen from the Autism Research Centre, Cambridge. It is important to note that while this test can be used to give an indication of the likelihood of having Asperger's Syndrome, it is not meant to replace a formal medical diagnosis.
Social Story "No hitting" has been tried and tested with my students. Social stories help a person with autism understand how to behave or respond in a particular situation using a visual guide describing various social interactions, situations, behaviours, skills or concepts. The goal of this Social Story is to share accurate social information and how to behave in them instances.
On the Southeast Missouri State University campus, about 700 Boy Scouts from more than 200 miles away rolled up their sleeves to earn merit badges. It was the 30th anniversary of the merit badge university, an event organized by the Beta Psi chapter of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity.
