What is Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? It is rather ridiculous to assume the adults pictured actually have autism. And NO the vaccine connections has NOT been ruled out. In fact the studies that are cited to "prove" vaccines are not linked to autism have been discredited. Link here: http://www.ageofautism.com/2009/04/fourteen-studies-only-if-you-never-read-them.html

This chart is good information about meltdowns. *** But please remember that adults with ASD have "meltdowns" too, although they are very different***. As an adult it's not possible to throw a tantrum so the issues shown on the diagram manifest differently. (And differently in different ASD adults.) What's needed is acceptance and helping that person decompress and destress before a meltdown happens. -- http://www.theautismdad.com
