Edward Burne-Jones, The Beguiling of Merlin (1874). Burne-Jones and William Morris became "followers" of Rossetti and, in doing so, ushered in the second wave of the Pre-Raphaelite Movement. This second wave eventually led to the Symbolist Movement. The stylized work of Burne-Jones points in that direction.
