Great infographic about the history of banned books. First, George Orwell, way to go!! Second, Charlotte's Web is both too realistic, and not realistic enough?!? And third, The DaVinci Code is not history, it is fiction, albeit very thought-provoking fiction.
Chip Kidd on Charlotte's Web: This was the first book I read that was really about the power of design and typography. I would say that Charlotte’s typographic web-o-grams represent the first depiction of a successful ad campaign in children’s literature.
