If you were following along on Stories yesterday, you saw that we were in my favorite little town, Alresford, yesterday. I love it for its pretty Georgian high street and it's great shops, but this house is the main attraction for me. I hesitated posting another photo of it, but I figure that others have their Eiffel Towers and Big Bens, and I have my house with a river running through it. by photobyshannon

Alresford (/ˈɒlsfərd/ or /ˈeɪlsfərd/) is a village and electoral ward in Essex, England. It is located 9 km (5.6 mi) southeast of Colchester and is 39 km (24 mi) northeast from the county town of Chelmsford. The village is in the district of Tendring and in the parliamentary constituency of North Essex. As Alresford has expanded towards the B1027 it has effectively subsumed the hamlet of Elmstead Row.
