Religions all united in peace. Headcoverings span across time, culture, and place. Though many associate them exclusively with one group or another, the truth is that there are many, many ladies from all traditions who choose to wear them!

People need to realize that being naked is not what is empowering, your ability and your right to dress however the fuck you want (including being naked if you want to and wearing hijab is you want to) THAT is empowering. Honestly most muslim women these days are actually told by their family to not wear hijab because we're afraid shit like this might happen to them.
