Wenceslaus Hollar (Prague 1602-Antwerp 1677), The Dance of Death: Adan and Eve expelled from Eden. Etching after the woodcut by Hans Holbein. Edition unknown. Hollar was one of the most important printmakers in England during the middle third of the seventeenth century.
A picture taken by Sebastiao Salgado of an Amazonian tribe which seems the vivid depiction of Adan and Eve in paradise. Drugs have been used since the beginning of times, the effects of LSD are much alike those of Peyote a spineless cactus found in North America, Amanita muscaria a mushroom found in Siberia or Ayahuasca a plant which grows in Amazonia. Those substances have been used by shamans to perform religious rituals, which can be described as spiritual awakenings, for years.
