For the first time in 20 years, the World Health Assembly (WHA)—the decision-making body of the World Health Organization (WHO)—unanimously approved and adopted a resolution and action plan on hearing loss prevention. The resolution, approved and adopted at the 70th WHA in May, invites the WHO to prepare its first world report on ear and hearing care, develop a toolkit for member states, and support the development of safe-listening standards. #audpeeps #hearingloss
