Abberley Hall, near Stourport, Worcestershire. Designed by Samuel Daukes,1837, for John Lewis Moilliet, a Birmingham banker. The house was gutted by fire in 1845 and restored by Daukes. The enormous free-standing Gothic clock tower in the park is by J.P. St Aubyn, 1883, for the new owner, John Joseph Jones, a cottentot. Abberley Hall is now a school.
