Doomed? One of the most iconic images of the war shows soldiers of the Royal Irish Rifles waiting to join the offensive on the Somme on 1 July, 1916. There were 60,000 British casualties that day - almost 20,000 died. The battle continued until mid-November, but no other day produced such appalling losses
James Dean - Andy Warhol / Behance. Very powerful icon within the movie industry, known for 'wooing' the women within the decade; the use of subtle tone that Warhol uses on the side of his face changes the picture well, comparing to the Michael Jackson one which is more simplistic and cartoony, this one has more realism but has bright use of colour. This piece is really funky, with the bold solid blue background and the bright golden hair.

Have always liked James Dean. When my hubby was a little boy, he lived in Paso Robles and the auto accident that killed James Dean happened on the highway right behind the house he lived in. He remembers it.
For my next character idea I researched into rock and pop stars. This star is Freddie Mercury he is renowned for his music and talent which made his parents very iconic. I could use this idea and adapted it make my own look of a pop star. I could make this look very colourful, bright and vivid to stand out.
