Great storytelling about the most important year in American history. It's a shame that history class in high school was so boring because the actual events are amazing. . .we take it for granted, but America might still be a colony of the crown were it not for a thick fog and extreme bravery.

1776 by David McCullough - This is a wonderful story of George Washington, his men, and America during the year of Independence: 1776. I saw the hand of the Lord in the beginnings of our country. The founding of this country was a miracle, guided by God. This is an excellent book, wonderfully written. I recommend it highly.
