By the time students get to the 12 times tables, there is really only one fact to learn. However, they should still be encouraged to learn a strategy for this set of facts. I like to use the "break up a number" strategy. For the 12's multiplication facts, students will break up the 12 into a 10 and a 2, multiply the parts, and then add together.
