“He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I am... A daughter of the King [Galatians 3v26] ; God-fearing [Proverbs 31v30] ; Steadfast in the love of Christ [Romans 8:31v38] ; Redeemed [Ephesians 1v7] ; Loved [Isaiah 43v3] ; Beautiful [Pslam 139v13-16] ; Worth far more than rubies [Proverbs 31v10] ; More than make-up & clothes [1 Peter 3v3-4] ; Free [John 8v36] ; Worth it [Romans 5v6-8] ; Victorious [Philippians 4v13] ; Joyful [John 15v11] ; Transformed [Romans 12v2] ; Dignified [Proverbs 22v11] ; Favoured [Proverbs 8v35].

We make a god out of whatever we find most joy in. So, find your joy in God and be done with all idolatry. - John Piper

Do you hope you have eternal life or do you know you do? The word of God tells us we can know, and oh what a blessed assurance it is to know! 1 John 5:13 (KJV)

"This is the way dead people do battle with sin. This is what it means to be a Christian. We are dead in the sense that the old unbelieving self (the flesh) has died. In its place is a new creation. What makes it new is faith. Not just a backward-looking belief in the death of Jesus but a forward-looking belief in the promises of Jesus. Not just being sure of what he did do but also being satisfied with what he will do. With all eternity hanging in the balance we fight the fight of faith…

So much of this going on. We're not understanding to change, we are understanding to fit our own personal ideology....WRONG!

Ancient Christianity on

The Gospel is meant to change the sinner. NOT for the sinner to change the Gospel to suit their sin! So True.

In one of our children’s classes we mentioned that some people doubt God’s Word. “Not me,” Danny said. “I don’t doubt.” He hasn’t! Greg belongs to the same group, hears the same lessons, asked Christ to save him a year before Danny, but still responds to nearly every salvation invitation. It’s sad to see a child struggle with assurance of his salvation, for God clearly says we can know we’re saved eternally (1 John 5:13).
