UVA MIRA - Boutique estate.  The farm is the highest of those on the Helderberg, outside Stellenbosch.  Boasting 360-degree views which include False Bay, Table Bay, Cape Point, Table Mountain,  and Robben Island. Established +/- 1998. Specialising in Chardonnay

OLD WORLD METHODS - hand harvesting, small barrel lot production, native yeast fermentation and minimal intervention. WHY - to allow our wines to express specific grape characteristics and provide a quality framework for each of them.

Nuweland Wines Swartland South Africa:  The farm has a beautiful view on a hill over Table mountain, Paardeberg, Riebeeck mountain, Dassenberg and the Darling vlakte (flats). The farm is situated on the Darling Rd (R315) and can be reached from the N7 or the R27. Winemaker, Juan Louw, is the only winemaker in South Africa that makes a fortified wine with sun-dried grapes that is not fermented.

SEQUILLO - Malmesbury. The main soil types are granite (Paardeberg), gravel (between Malmesbury and Darling), clay (the Glenrosa soil formations north of Malmesbury) and slate (the Porcelain Mountains towards Riebeek Kasteel). Our red grape varieties are Syrah, Mourvedre ,Grenache Noir, Cinsault , Carignan and Tinta Barocca. The white grape varieties are Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Rousanne, Clairette Blanche, Palomino and Verdelho.

Sequillo winery: Our wines also fermented naturally, we refrain from using additives, we avoid using new wood whenever we can – all of this because we believe in place above progress.

VEENWOUDEN - Situated on the northern side of Paarl on the Paarl/Wellington Road, with spectacular views over the Klein Drakenstein Mountains.  A Boutique winery.  The planting of the new vineyards commenced in 1989, and by 1993 12 ha was finally under wine vines. Contained within a valley, and the vineyards lie on a gentle slope, facing northeast towards the Berg River. Atlantic Ocean, some 60 kilometers away

BOEKENHOUTSKLOOF - established in 1776. Located in the furthest corner of the beautiful Franschhoek valley. A new vineyard planting programme was established that now includes Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Semillon and Viognier.

Boekenhoutskloof (pronounced kinda like book-en-howed-scloof) is a winery in South Africa presenting stand-up wines of the unique South African style. Well known for their red blend “The Chocolate Block”, they have a lot more to offer.
