Army SPC. Joseph A. Richardson, 23, of Booneville, Arkansas. Died November 16, 2012, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. Assigned to the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas. Died in Paktika Province, Afghanistan, from injuries suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device and small arms fire.
