Vintage Toy - Pluto Push Puppet

This was found in a box of family heirlooms. PICS are accurate. Great for the toy collector. I couldn't resist testing it, and it totally works! The only thing wrong with this is that whatever writing WAS on the gold tag is faded into non-existence. As always, I am underpricing ALL found on the net. I do not clean vintage jewelry or items to preserve their value. ***You will not find such quality items cheaper than you will at my Kimplicity Shop! I am adding new items almost every day so…

i would love to be able to take already made reels and make my own using my photographs kinda like how they do at Image3D

Make Your Own View-Master Reels

Last weekend I unearthed my old View-Master and a ziploc bag full of reels. It was so fun to see my son discover images from my childhood in 3D, and the only thing that could be more special would be images from his own childhood. This kit makes it possible.Using a digital camera and Photoshop, users can create custom reels that fit a standard View-Master.

This Day in History: Sep 30, 1931: Start of "Die Voortrekkers" youth movement for Afrikaners in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

The founding of the Voortrekkers coincided with the growth of Afrikaner nationalism in South Africa, then a member of the British Commonwealth. In some ways it was an Afrikaans-language alternative to the largely English-speaking Boy Scout movement, with its British heritage. This Day in History: Jul 19, 1786: The town Graaf-Reinet is founded in South Africa

On 19 July 1786 Graaff-Reinet was established by the Dutch East Indian Company (DEIC). The town was named after the Governor Cornelis Jacob van de Graeff and his wife Cornelia Reynet. Graaff-Reinet is the fourth oldest town in South Africa. It is well known as the home of magnificent examples of Cape Dutch architecture and over 220 heritage sites.
