Johannesburg is known by many names: the City of Gold, eGoli, Jozi. It is an African city of over 8 million people. And though it is often overlooked in favour of Cape Town, it's abustle with energy and filled to the brim with pzazz. One cannot be bored in Joburg as there is so much to do from open-air history lessons to museums, festivals, day trips and some of South Africa's best restaurants.
