Strip road - I remember thinking how courteous people were when passing one another - each vehicle would pull to the left with only the right hand wheels left on the strip for traction. There was an occasion when someone (who clearly did not know my mother!) did not pull over in a timely manner and my mother decided not to be so courteous!
Balancing Rocks, Matopos National Park, Zimbabwe. I spent part of my childhood on the research station not far away. I remember loads of brightly coloured lizards in the rocks and we used to feed them minced meat.
