Been obsessed with sugar art since I was a little girl. I recall being mesmerised by my grandmothers top tier wedding cake that was in her glass display cabinet. The most delicate rose buds and blooms I have ever seen, even until today! She never took a photo. I know it’s quite sad. She is 94 now and she cannot give me any details. But it’s in my memory. The white and pale pink heart shaped cake, adorned in roses and buds. It will remain etched in my memory forever, and that’s quite beautiful.
