Raised Garden Bed from cinder blocks!!  This worked so well for me last year!  The cardboard underneath is kept all the weeds out too!  This year I am expanding it!!!

A pinner did this. My suggestion would be to add cardboard or something up the sides to hold water. My garden did SO WELL, but it dried out easily. Also, in the individual holes, I planted herbs, green peppers and zucchini. They did excellent also!

Here’s a clever idea for lighting your garden path that uses empty liquor or wine bottles and icicle holiday lights. Collect enough empty colored bottles to line both sides of your path; you can ask a local bar to save bottles for you. Cobalt blue glass gives off a soft blue light, but any color will work.
