Paul Dachsel Turn Teplitz Dragonfly Amphora Vase. Gorgeous gorgeous Art Nouveau piece by Paul Dachel. Teplitz refers to art pottery manufactured by a number of companies in the Teplitz-Turn area of Bohemia during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. RARE TURN TEPLITZ AUSTRIAN VASE BY PAUL DACHSEL. This amphora art pottery vase has dragonfly rim, ribbed bulbous body with decorative four-looped handles, purple mark to base. Mold #104. SIZE: 6″ x 4-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good.

Fabulous antique Amphora Elite art pottery vase with an organic lollipop motif, representing the creative vision of Paul Dachsel, circa 1902-1904, prior to leaving the family business of Riessner, Stellmacher and Kessel (RStK) to venture out on his own. Standing 11-3/4" high, this vase has four shoots coming out of and growing up from the base, rejoining the vase body then arching outward again, its round, pink disc-shaped head finally bowing to kiss the stem below.
