Korean Oxtail Soup (Kkori Gomtang) | The Subversive Table
Soup season means it's time to make Korean Oxtail Soup! Also called Kkori Gomtang, it's a delicious soup made from beef oxtail bones. Clear broth, chewy oxtails, tender radish, and slurpy sweet potato noodles -- so delicious! Serve with rice, kimchi, and a shower of green onion.
APPLE CINNAMON TEA
Ingredients: 1L boiling water 1/4-1/2 orange, roughly chopped 1apple, chopped 3cinnamon sticks or 1tsp cinnamon Handful of fresh mint 2teabags or 2 tbsp loose tea of choice (I used black and basil tea) 2tsp honey Chop up the apple, slice an orange, and add them to the teapot. Then add mint, cinnamon, honey, and tea. Pour boiling water, cover with a lid, and let it steep for 10 minutes.
